Cold Hands? Cold Feet?

The mind and intention can move energy in the body. For instance, a visualization is to see the fingertips glowing in a golden color. We can see the palms radiating a red or golden color as if holding a glowing billiard ball or shot put.

Before, during and after the meditation/visualization, it helps to rub the hands together, massage the lines of the palms and squeeze each finger. The same process can work to warm the feet. Massage the ball of the foot, work out any tension between the bones of the foot and squeeze the toes. Then, visualize the feet glowing and connected to the earth / floor / carpet.

Activating the extremities of the body through self-massage and visualization moves energy. As the mind concentrates, energy moves to the extremities and blood follows the mind to warm the hands and feet.

The same visualization and self-massage techniques work for other parts of the body. Seeing the organs glow, meridians full of energy, or bones teeming with healthy marrow can be aided by self-massage and adding physical pressure. As Chi (Qi / Energy / Prana / Vital Force) flows through the meridians, the organs associated with that meridian are energized. These acupuncture meridians, when full of energy, also enhance glands, fasciae, muscles and bones, rejuvenating the entire body”
